Sustainably harvested in Stuben, Maine from a CSA that has been in operation for over 40 years, we are proud to offer to the Hudson Valley an assorted selection of Atlantic sea vegetables.
Our seaweeds are sold dried, they need to be rehydrated before cooking. This is as easy as putting them into a bowl of water a half-hour before you start cooking. If you are making a soup, save this water for the broth, as it is rich in vitamins and minerals from the seaweed.
As an easy rule of thumb, dehydrated seaweeds rehydrate to ten-times their size, so a little goes a long way!
Raw Foodies: Our CSA air-dries the seaweeds below 80° F, ensuring that the original enzymes remain unchanged making them perfect for a raw foods diet.
